On May 28th, we will be celebrating an important day that should never be forgotten. On this day, Memorial Day should be remembered for the freedom we have in this country. We should always recognize our fallen hero's and our veterans who sacrificed their lives in battle for us to have freedom of speech, so that we can live in a country that doesn't have strict laws and provisions. We should be honored to be U.S. citizens!
We live in a very fast paced world and we tend to forget how we got here. Our days slip by and sometimes we take for granted where we live and how well we live. With our busy lives we tend to forget the proud men and women who carried us through the years, and some of us even forget about this day! We should remember our veterans, but also we should not forget our active men and women who are serving our country. While we enjoy the great amenities of home cooked meals, air conditioning, and a clean shower, we should remember our proud men and women that are not able to enjoy these luxuries. Some of our military personal are in countries that are underdeveloped in the middle nowhere, and they do not get to experience the fine amenities that we enjoy.
So let's not forget our active duty men and women and also those that have fallen! Send a care package to our troops and let's say Thank You! A care package can consist of gum, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, hard candies, crackers, cookies etc.
