Time of Planting for Spring

My family and I have decided this year due to the economy we are going to start a garden! We decided to plant tomatoes, cauliflower, and potatoes. Spring is also the time to start planting your flowers as well. I was viewing a website by att/bellsouth and their was a article titled "Spring Garden Checklist" by Better Homes and Gardens magazine. I found this article to be very helpful. Their article was very informing to me because I didn't know there was three seasons in spring when we should tend to our garden. There is a early spring when you check for signs of growth and prep the beds etc. There is mid spring when you should build new beds and stop feeding the birds! I thought we always fed the birds!! Then there is late spring when we prune our blooms. In their article there is more information available, you can view the information at http://my.att..net/
