A Bike Week Experience

I never could understand who decided to put Bike Week at the first week of March? In the beginning of the week the weather was so cold you could see your breath! The weather is finally deciding to warm up! Up to yesterday the temperature started reaching the 70's. I know some of you are saying poor baby, "I would take the 50's." For any of you who do live in Florida, know when it does get down to the 50's in temperature it's a damp cold. Sometimes the weather up north is a little better when it gets this cold down here!
As some of you know for Daytona bike week, Main street is the coming attraction. You see all kinds of different people, motorcycles, and situations. I was on main street yesterday and saw a huge Lobster on top of car! Anybody for Seafood? Of course it was fake, but you could see it coming a mile away! I had also seen some unusual Rat bikes! For those not so familiar with motorcycles, a rat bike is a motorcycle that is all trashed out. It is a motorcycles with all kinds of junk on it. There can be tin cans, stuffed animals, lots of rust, fake snakes, a mailbox and a hot dog cooker! If you ever are hungry just fry up a hot dog on your motorcycle, what a way to go!
Bike week has grown and expanded in Daytona Beach. We have four different areas across town to see exciting events and people. So if you are ever wondering if you should come, I don't think you will be disappointed!
